The 4th Annual Crossfit Canmore Challenge Was a Huge Success! Thanks to everyone who participated – we’ll see you next year.

The 4th Annual Crossfit Canmore Challenge will be held November 16 & 17th, 2013

Parking: We have room for four cars in front of CrossFit Canmore. Additional parking is available on the street (shown below in green). If you park in Mr. Phillips’ parking spots (clearly marked), you may be towed. Yes, you may have to walk 200m.

Spectators: Spectators are welcome but space will be tight. CrossFit Canmore t-shirts are $30. Valbella’s Deli is located within walking distance and open 9am-5pm on Saturday, but CLOSED on Sunday.

Movement standards and scaling will be discussed at the athlete briefing.
You must choose your category before you start WOD 1 (Rx or Scaled).

Team WOD #2

5 min AMRAP
Max load lifted ground to overhead

Teams will choose any weight they want to put on the bar. The goal is to lift the weight as many times as possible from ground to overhead. You may snatch, C&J, clean and press, clean and push press, whatever you want. You may even change lifting styles during the AMRAP One athlete working at a time while the other athlete rests with one bar shared.Example: Jane chooses C&J while John chooses the snatch. They load the bar with 100lbs. They total 65 reps in 5mins. The teams final score is 6500 lbs lifted.

Team WOD #3

4 rounds for time. 20 min time cap
Row 500m/ AD 40 Calories
20 log squats
10 Burpee over the log
No scale
One athlete will row while the other bikes till each has completed their respected distance/calories. Then they will squat together with the logs and do burpees together. Burpees must be performed in unison. Athletes may trade rowing and airdyne rolls during the workout.
